History of Raha Pharmaceutical Company
Raha Pharmaceutical Company of Isfahan, a knowledge-based pharmaceutical company (Private Joint Stock), is proud to be located in one of the country’s advanced industrial areas, Safa Industrial Town, situated 7 kilometers south of the historic and beautiful city of Isfahan. With a built-up area of more than 17,000 square meters, the company is considered one of the key pillars of Iran’s pharmaceutical industry and has commenced its activities in the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products. The construction and implementation of the company’s pharmaceutical units began in 2004 and reached the operational stage in 2010.
Raha Pharmaceutical Company, with its diverse production lines for tablets, capsules, pellets, ampoules, eye drops, nasal sprays, syrups, and semi-solid products (creams, gels, and ointments), has always focused on modern pharmaceutical practices and the formulation of new products. The company strives to utilize research, technology, and innovation to manufacture high-quality products and take significant steps toward meeting the country’s pharmaceutical needs and treating current and future endemic diseases.
In this regard, we have successfully completed and registered the formulations of more than 200 products across various therapeutic groups, including gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, neurological and psychiatric, analgesic, antihistamine (asthma and allergy), dermatological, antidiabetic, ophthalmic, nutritional, and general medicines. In the very first year, we introduced more than 50 products to domestic and international markets.
By combining experience and expertise, our shareholders, members of the Board of Directors, and industrial pharmaceutical specialists, with an average of forty years of experience in pharmaceutical sciences and industry, have consistently sought to benefit from the latest scientific findings and significant innovations in this field.
